Professional HE Services (PHES) is an umbrella company for membership organisations in Higher Education. Currently PHES is the corporate “parent” of four Special Interest Organisations (SIOs); the Association of University Directors of Estates (AUDE), the British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG), the Higher Education Strategic Planners Association (HESPA) and Universities Human Resources (UHR). BUFDG also includes the Higher Education Procurement Association (HEPA), although HEPA is not an SIO of the company.
PHES is managed by an Executive Board supported by a Managing Director. The Directors delegate responsibility for day-to-day management of the associations to the most senior member of staff working on behalf of that association.

PHES Digital Support Officer
We are looking for a Digital Support Officer to join our small team (20 staff) during this exciting period of expansion and become our digital evangelist. We are looking for candidates who can work anywhere between 0.75 FTE and full-time. This is a new role in the organisation.
The successful candidate will become an essential part of the PHES team working across all four associations, managing our IT systems and providing technical and system support to team members. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll need to use your IT expertise to help these four associations achieve their goals, while maximising the efficiencies of this shared service.
The post-holder reports to the PHES Managing Director and has no line management responsibilities. This role will be based in Loughborough and include some UK travel and occasional overnight stays.
To apply, complete the application form and email it with a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role to email@example.com.

A Year in PHES 2017/18
We’ve published our first joint PHES report, looking at what all the different organisations have been up to during 17/18, and how we’ve been working together. We’ll be developing the report over the coming years, and will use it to help us work together in a more integrated way, so that the organisations can be even more valuable to the HE sector.
